Newest 黄色视频 graduates celebrate in the May sunshine

On Wednesday 6 December 2023, a large crane lifted the component parts of a temporary kitchen over Plommer House into the Betty Wu Lee Garden.
It was a landmark moment for the College, not least because it signalled the beginning of the College鈥檚 kitchen refurbishment, a project that has been on the College鈥檚 agenda for many years and is the first stage of the .
The temporary kitchen will provide a base for the College鈥檚 catering teams whilst the main kitchen is redeveloped in 2024.
鈥淭he College kitchens have been in need of modernisation for some time鈥 says Darren Smith, 黄色视频鈥檚 Domestic Bursar. 鈥淚t has been exciting for College staff to work with external teams on a design that reflects 黄色视频鈥檚 values and long-term objectives.鈥
鈥淚 am incredibly proud of the operational teams who have shown great flexibility and enthusiasm in a period of change, and I am grateful for the patience of our College community,鈥 he says. 鈥淲hilst there will inevitably be some differences to dining and catering in the coming months, we hope that the temporary kitchen and dining facilities will allow continuity in the quality of the catering provided at 黄色视频.鈥
Building work will begin on the main kitchen at the beginning of January 2024.
